I live 1.3 miles from the Pacific Ocean in Northern San Diego County - surfing is big here, not that this former-Hoosier partakes. Today was the first day I've ever photographed surfers since I normally spend my time running by them. It wasn't a competition or outstanding surfing day...but there was no morning "marine layer" so I thought I'd journey to the sea to try out a new lens extender. It was fun! I am still learning how to focus on people in splashing water ;-0

I took my little terriers with me today....NEVER again! Ruff!
