Cardiff by the Sea : Cardiff by the Sea is an enclave of Encinitas, Calif. in Northern San Diego County. Historic Coast Highway 101 runs through the laid back town and provides a a perfect stretch of road for biking, running or just hanging out although surfing rules. More photos will be coming!

Africa (Kenya) : These photos were taken in 2002 with a large, now antique, Olympus. The camera did not have much of a zoom so some of these photos were taken a frighteningly close range.

I was in Kenya for the Safaricom Marathon and Half Marathon. I didn't take my camera on the run like I have done at other races, but I do have some photos on my Active People at Running Races/Kenya gallery.

Moonlight Beach Reflection : I was on deadline to send in my fieldwork photography class homework assignment of "reflection." It was due the evening I took these. Fortunately, there is always some colorful (and nice) characters on the beach near where I live near Encinitas, CA. Yea!, it was a clear day and sunset! This guy and his friend were practicing their "fire dancing" or something... None of the photos were Photoshopped except for a crop, flip and color correction.
